And on the subject of food, there are no restaurants (fast food or otherwise) nearby, so be prepared to drive for your meals, or have them delvered. I didn't have a chance to try the complimentary breakfast, since I had to leave before it was put out. The microwave was also unplugged, but that was easily dealt with. I called the desk,and they got one for me, so it wasn't much of a problem. The listing said every room had one, and I could see where one had been, so maybe the motel was in the process of replacing it. The room was clean and comfortable, and the only problem I encountered, was the lack of a hair dryer in my room. I didn't really sample many of the amenities, since I was just there for a night's sleep. I stayed at the Days Inn at Kansas City International Airport in order to catch an early morning flight.
